Still On The Right Track Award

Alexa Chung walked the red carpet at the 2011 Elle Style Awards which was held in London last night.

She opted for a YSL Spring 2011 ensemble.

The look included a short sleeved blouse paired with a ruffled skirt. Both pieces had the YSL distinctive black fingerprint motif.

Black suede YSL heels and a black clutch completed her look.

This is a good look for Alexa. She seems to be on a roll.

I’m sure she made the effort because she was the host of this event.

New man, new look and a new book. Jenny McCarthy is hot, hot, hot. Now on a book tour for her 7th book, Jenny is looking gorgeous with a twist of humor. The cameras are watching her and justifiably so. Here she is leaving Chelsea Lately looking like a proper bombshell with her YSL Easy Y Satchel in fuchsia and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Katharine McPhee was spotted last week as she was getting ready to autograph copies of her new album titled Had It all. This newly-blond bombshell was looking pretty stylish for the occasion. Her outfit consisted of a black mini dress worn over opaque black tights and a black leather motorcycle jacket. But wait, are those brown boots she’s wearing with her all-black outfit? I have said this before, but I will say it again… Neat! I am really loving this brown paired with black trend. It has such a refreshing feeling to it! But what’s even more enticing about Ms. McPhee’s ensemble is her lovely handbag. It looks to be the Yves Saint Laurent Muse in Black Patent. Wow! Now that’s hot! And it looks especially nice with her black leather motorcycle jacket, giving her overall look a nice balance between tough girl and professional chic.

It’s Heidi Montag again and she seems to know how to make almost any designer bag look obnoxious. This is so unfortunate. Another thing that is unfortunate has to be the fact that Heidi and her overly annoying husband, Spencer Pratt continue to be spotted coming and going from talk shows.

Here the dynamic duo (and I use that term with complete sarcasm) was photographed visiting It’s on with Alexa Chung in NYC. Once again, Heidi is carrying her beloved Yves Saint Laurent Y Tote. We’ve seen her carry this bag several times before, but the more she carries it, the more I start to dislike it. Even more along the lines of dislike, that furry vest she has on. I am sure it actually might not look that bad on someone else, but I can’t stand it on Heidi.

Keeping comfy in sweats, Ashley Tisdale and boyfriend Scott Speer head out of Paty’s Restaurant after having an early lunch in Toluca Lake, Calif. yesterday afternoon (November 27).

Ashley may appear to be dressed down for the occasion but she’s carrying a Yves Saint Laurent Muse Handbag with a Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Key And Change Holder and wearing Ugg Australia Sundance II Boots In Chestnut and a pair of Gucci 1827 Sunglasses.

I’m a complete and total fangirl when it comes to Lady Gaga. I think that she does no wrong, musically or fashionably, and I queen out so hard whenever one of her songs come up on my iTunes shuffle or when I see her on TV. I fully intend to buy tickets and go see her the next time she plays in Atlanta. I’m pretty close to worshiping her.

And one of the reasons that I love her so much is because she totally and completely embraces the ridiculousness of high fashion – not that many other people would dare to wear the utterly fabulous Marc Jacobs Neon Poncho – straight out of his Fall/Winter 2009 runway show – to the AIRPORT? There are only so many people on Earth that are that fierce. And to top it off, she’s again carrying (or her bodyguard is carrying) her Yves Saint Laurent Studded Easy Tote that we spotted her with not long ago. I’m actually a bit surprised – it’s not often that Lady Gaga repeats a bag! But when a bag is that fabulous, repeating it certainly isn’t bad.

It was a family affair at Scout Willis’s high school graduation, and not simply because papa Bruce, mama Demi, and step-dad Ashton were all in attendance. Scout’s actress sister Rumer, also at the event, seems to have inherited her mother’s taste for Yves Saint Laurent handbags . Rumer brought her own lovely black Easy bag along, and though her outfit isn’t very graduation-esque, the bag looks fab. But then, when doesn’t a YSL handbag look fab?

Love her or hate her, Sienna Miller certainly has fabulous taste in desginer handbags. This classic taupe ostrich-skin Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche handbag is just plain stunning, yet surprisingly suitable for everyday (hmmm…must tell my accountant that next he balks at my spending habits). While Sienna’s striped nautical top and jeans would have also looked great with a cream or navy purse, the YSL adds a nice extravagant touch.
