Taking care of some media duties, Holly Madison was spotted at Pix 11 Morning News studios in New York City today (January 19).

The “Girls Next Door” babe looked bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as she headed inside, sporting a pretty pink coat,  white striped dress and carrying a Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Speedy.

As for her new boyfriend Jack Barakat, Holly revealed that they met thanks to the micro-blogging site Twitter.

“We met through a mutual friend and then somehow somebody retweeted something funny he said on Twitter,” she said. “So I started following him and then we started tweeting each other back and forth!”

“We were texting for months, and finally when I had my vacation, I was like, ‘Do you wanna come out hang out with me?’ and he did and we hit it off right away.”

Katie Holmes was spotted picking strawberries with Suri in Toronto carrying the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2010 Aviator bag. This bag has been seen on many celebrities in recent weeks and will be available to the public soon… that is if you have an extra $3,270 to spend on one handbag.

With its handbags selling for thousands, Louis Vuitton has built its reputation on the highest quality.
But advertising watchdogs have found the French design house guilty of misleading customers with two advertisements depicting its ‘craftsmen’ – because the bags are not actually made by hand.

Despite ads showing a ‘seamstress with linen thread’ and boasting of ‘infinite patience’, bags bearing the trademark pattern of an interwoven ‘L’ and ‘V’ are predominantly created by machine.

Britain’s Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) has banned two Louis Vuitton ads for misleading customers, the Daily Mail reports.

One of the ads depicts a seamstress sewing together a handbag with text that reads, “The seamstress with linen thread and beeswax. A needle, linen thread, beeswax and infinite patience protect each over-stitch from humidity and the passage of time. One could say that a Louis Vuitton bag is a collection of details. But with so much attention lavished on every one, should we only call them details?” The other ad shows a seamstress making a wallet.

The problem–at least for complaining clients–is that Louis Vuitton’s luxury goods are made by machine. Louis Vuitton confessed that sewing machines are used in the process but that the “production of the bags was ‘not automated’ and that there were over 100 stages in the making of each bag,” according to the Daily Mail.

However, that’s not enough to sway the ASA, which maintains the ads are deceptive.

Oh boy does Ashley have friends in high places. Here she is on May 21st looking all too pleased to be followed, Ashley is out and about with her little dog and her Monogram Embossed Stephen which was an extremely Limited bag. It was creme, brown and gray from Fall/Winter 2006 and according to the folks at LV, as soon it was launched, it sold out. No where to be found now, Ashley  is a girl after our own heart, a bag person with a collection that is the only thing that makes us envious of her.

Next year Louis Vuitton will be releasing custom iPad Cases. The cases will come both in the Monogram and in the Damier Graphite design. The cases will be priced at 240 USD, which is actually quite reasonable considering LV pricing.

I doubt that most stars would still be able to locate the Louis Vuitton Miroir Alma Bag that they toted back in the mid-2000s, but Khloe saw fit to pull her gold version out of the depths of her assuredly enormous closet to take to “The Declaration of Real Talk campaign” in NYC. To keep it current, she paired them with her totally of-the-moment Christian Louboutin Ulona Platform Sandals, which I’d be willing to be will be all over stars’ feet this summer.
