Just having made her way back to the Big Apple, Blake Lively was looking stylish on the set of “Gossip Girl” in New York City on Wednesday (January 12).

The Serena van der Woodsen actress strutted from the trailer area to delve into the day’s scenes, having flown back to NYC last night after attending the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Gala in Los Angeles the previous evening.

Aside from her “Gossip Girl” duties, Miss Lively is said to be among the top competitors to star alongside Taylor Lautner in the upcoming adaptation of “Incarceron”.

Blake is said to be going up against two other young stars, as “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson and Oscar contender Jennifer Lawrence are also in the running.

Ok, so she may not even be legal to do anything but drive in some smaller states but Taylor Momsen is the style maker that we love to watch. Here she is on the go on set of Gossip Girl carrying her Novella Royale Mister Stud Bowler Bag. Made from recycled leather jackets with organic cotton interior, this is just spot on and on our ‘must-have’ list.

I don’t know what I want more – Leighton Meester’s leopard-print Louis Vuitton scarf or her cream Nina Ricci Besace Flap Bag. Eh, why not both? The “Gossip Girl” star bundled up in style, and the stylish A-list accessories really help her black winter coat take it up a notch. All she needs now is one of Blair’s headbands!

I think we’ve seen more Valentino bags worn by the characters of Gossip Girl this year than basically any other designer. Taylor Momsen carried one to the Halloween party, Hilary Duff wore one when she first met Dan, and Blake Lively had one on her arm when she met KC, her eventual boss. Not only that, but an entire plot point in last week’s episode centered around Leighton Meester striking up a friendship with a call girl named Brandeis just because she saw her carrying a Valentino bag in a coffee shop. But it finally looks like Leighton has a Valentino 360 Hobo all to herself.

Between being carried all around town by line founder Gwen Stefani and now being carried on the set of Gossip Girl by Jessica Szohr’s character Vanessa, this LAMB Convertible Crossbody Bag has generated a lot of buzz for the No Doubt singer’s still-young fashion line.

I’ve gotta say, this bag looks like it’s one of the best yet that we’ve seen from the brand. The embossed texture on the body of the bag reminds me of Louis Vuitton bags of late, and the bright blue color is nicely tempered by the black accents. I can’t say I’m loving Jessica/Vanessa’s outfit as a whole, but the bag is still highly interesting. It won’t surface until the Holiday 2009 collection hits stores, but I like what I’ve seen.
