Britney Spears is the cover girl for V Magazine’s Spring issue, and she’s looking and feeling better than ever.

The superstar discusses her new hugely anticipated seventh album Femme Fatale, which drops on March 29, declaring, “I think it’s the best album I’ve ever made.”

How has she managed to remain on top after more than a decade in the biz?

“I have learned to always stay true to myself and never let what other people say about me change who I am,” Spears says. “It’s a really important lesson that took me a long time to learn.”

On how she’s changed since her early years in Hollywood, the mom of two says, “I think it’s easier to let people in when you’re younger, but when I became a mother I wanted more privacy for myself and my children. A life away from my life,” she explains.

When her interviewer asks Spears what she’d like people to know about her today, she laughs, “The b**ch is back and better than ever!”

Britney Spears debuted the music video for her new song “Hold It Against Me” on Thursday night, and it has something for everyone — especially if you’re strongly considering making a few purchases.

Spears briefly dances in a wedding dress, then fist fights herself, but the real stars are the product placements: her own perfume line, dating site PlentyofFish.com, Sony electronics and perhaps more.

Now that the entire world has become even more obsessed with Britney Spears, her choreographer Brian Friedman shared new details with MTV on Britney’s video for her new single ‘Hold It Against Me’.

“Someone like Britney, she was born to dance,” he told MTV. “This is a dance video; rehearsals can get pretty rough. We’re playing it safe, we’re not trying to kill ourselves, but as the video comes closer and closer we will definitely be hurting our backs. There was a moment while we were rehearsing where I showed Britney a section and it was something I really wanted her to do, and she freaked out — it’s crazy when you first see something like that just how overwhelming it can be, especially when you haven’t been in the dance studio for a year. It was probably the wrong section to show her first, but she learned it and she’s killing it now.”

“She’s fun to work with,” he continued. “She’s a southern girl, she’s all about having fun and laughing and cracking jokes. I think you can expect the unexpected from Britney. She’s taking risks when it comes to fashion, when it comes to choreography, when it comes to this music — she’s grown up so much, and she’s pushing thirty years old soon, so she’s a strong independent woman and I think she wants to show that.”

Feeling quite well about herself after dropping another top-selling single, Britney Spears was back out for another day’s work in Los Angeles on Thursday (January 13).

Clad in a cute striped top, skinny jeans and high heels, the “Gimme More” crooner eased her way into a local recording studio to continue putting the final touches on her upcoming album.

As for her chart-topping release, the Spears camp continues to offer their thanks to fans who purchased Brit’s single “Hold It Against Me”.

Most recently, Spears’ manager posted an image of the “Hold It Against Me” iTunes icon in the top slot in multiple countries while tweeting, “This is absolutely incredible! Brit’s fans never cease to amaze me. #HIAM http://bit.ly/dHzywe -Adam Leber, Manager”

Getting into a daily dance practice routine, Britney Spears was back at the studio in West Hollywood, California on Wednesday afternoon (January 12).

Swapping in and out of two separate outfits, the pop princess worked on her moves before later heading off to a nail salon for a little pampering.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Spears’ latest single “Hold It Against Me” has become the #1 on the iTunes list and is said to have broken radio records.

Thanking her fans, Brit tweeted, “Seriously, I have the best fans ever. I love you all so much!! Everything I do is for you! xoxo Brit”

Meanwhile, reports tell that Spears is now under fire from the Bellamy brothers who claim she “ripped off” their song.

Britney Spears was spotted leaving Michael’s craft store in Santa Barbara carrying a Coach Julia Satchel in Berry. The 28-year-old pop princess checked out arts and crafts supplies with boyfriend Jason Trawick and his parents. We love the bag and it’s perfect for a day of running errands but the rest of her outfit is less than desirable.

Britney Spears and boyfriend, both were spotted by the paps. carrying bags in hand. The boyfriend is carrying a very well known shopping bag that most of us ladies are familiar with, while Brit-Brit sports the Croc Embossed Morning After Bag by Rebecca Minkoff. Minkoff MAB’s are indeed great travel choices, their comfy, roomy, and don’t scream designer. I love how the MAB is ideal for every gal ranging from the student who stuffs notebooks into her purses, the shopper who seeks a comfy grab-and-go satchel, to the mom who needs that spacious bag to store everything from toys to sweaters in. The wide range of leathers, textures and colors found in the Morning After collection makes these satchels greatly desired, it’s just a matter of which style is your pick.

Ah, what a gentleman! Britney Spears‘ new boyfriend played the knight in shining armor role, not only guiding his lady love out of the paparazzi fray but also holding her pink Candie’s handbag as well. I’m surprised that Britney doesn’t support more high-end designer handbags (surely she can afford it?), but she does of course have a soft spot for Candie’s. Plus, that pink hue seems just her thing, doesn’t it?
