Taking place at the Hollywood Palladium, the “Fracture” hunk was all suited up as he flashed his million dollar smile for the packs of photogs and fans lining the arrivals area.

Making the appearance as one of the talented nominees, Ryan is in the running for Best Actor for his work in “Blue Valentine” while competing against Jeff Bridges, Robert Duvall, Jesse Eisenberg, Colin Firth and James Franco.

As for the ceremony, Kristin Chenoweth is the host for the Critics’ Choice Awards – which air live on VH1 beginning at 9PM ET/PT.
