Rumor… Kate Middleton to Wear Alexander McQueen Wedding Gown

The speculation over Kate Middleton’s wedding dress will not cease until she takes her trip down the aisle next month. The latest rumor has her wedding her prince in an Alexander McQueen gown.

The Daily Mail reports that Alexander McQueen chief executive Jonathan Akeroyd reportedly dished the news of a major royal wedding commission to a colleague, although he has since denied the reports.

If Middleton is indeed wearing McQueen, we can expect something pretty magical from creative director Sarah Burton on April 29.

On Wednesday, Lady Gaga made her Paris Fashion Week runway debut for the new incarnation of the Thierry Mugler brand, Mugler. Gaga was there to support her longtime stylist Nicola Formichetti, who is the revived brand’s chief designer.

Somehow, Gaga managed to make it down the runway despite her terrifyingly tall platform heels, smoking and shimmying to the tune of her new track, “Goverment Hooker.” Impressive!

Also impressive: Gaga’s thigh-length blond ponytails. Dare we say they look like they were anime-inspired? Were it not for the sex shop finery, she’d look like she was rocking a Sailor Moon costume.

“It’s just very traumatic,” the 24-year-old British actor says of his his off-screen relationship with co-star Kristen Stewart. “When [the Twilight mania] is over, the media will lose interest [in our relationship]. There’ll be nothing to say. It won’t fit into a headline anymore. It won’t fit into a template.”

“Kristen is very focused on being an actress,” Rob adds. “I mean, that’s what she is—she’s an actress. Whereas I—I just don’t really know… She’s cool. Even before I knew her I thought she was a really good actress. Like, I saw Into the Wild, and I thought she was really good in that. I still think there are very few girls in her class that are as good as she is.”

She’s done it before and she’s doing it again – Lady Gaga is set to debut another brand new song during the Thierry Mugler fashion show during the annual Paris Fashion Week.

Coming up later today lady gaga will serve as the musical director for Mugler’s runway show.

The fashion show will be streamed live at 3pm ET and, word has it, the tune Gaga will be premiering is “Judas” – which is the second single off her “Born This Way” album.

Of the new track, co-producer Fernando Garibay told MTV News, ” ‘Judas’ is produced by RedOne and Gaga, obviously, and it’s a statement about, again I can’t speak for her, but what I gather is it’s about sometimes not choosing the right choice,” he said. “But you can’t deny that the choice is not a part of you and who you are.”

Burlesque star Dita Von Teese has, for years, hinted at a desire to launch a clothing line. She told The Frisky last year, “I might like to, but I would be very careful about how I went about it because I feel like I wouldn’t want to just go into my closet and knock off my favorite designers.”

While Dita’s clothing collection has yet to materialize, her fans will be pleased to hear that they will be able to purchase a little bit of her enviable glamour in a little while. On Thursday, Von Teese tweeted about her upcoming signature scent: “Isolated at a chateau in the French countryside w/my perfumers. “No fruit, no vanilla, no candy!! Velvet sensuality w/a dash of vulgarity!”"

Dita continued, “I want to evoke passion with fragrance….intense love/lust and distaste/fear rather than merely popular acceptance.” It will be interesting to see what goes into the creation of aural fear, no?

Bringing her latest looks to the catwalk, Gwen Stefani presented the L.A.M.B. Fall 2011 fashion show at The Theatre at Lincoln Center in New York City on Thursday night (February 17).

Held as part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week festivities, the No Doubt singer proudly watched on as models showed off her new designs before taking to the runway with son Kingston by her side to close out the stylish extravaganza.

Just before getting things underway, Miss Stefani took a moment to chat with USA Today while answering a few questions posed by their readers.

Asked whether the collection had any relation to her being in the studio for a new No Doubt record, Gwen replied, “You know I always feel like clothes are a direct affect of music. Whether it be from me being like a little bit of an English girl, like a little bit of a Rasta girl, a little bit of an Orange County girl, it’s like always those same things that come through in the clothes. Like you’ll see (in the fashion show) it’s very clear because we divided (the clothes) into six groups. I feel like I would never be a little English girl if I didn’t listen to the Cure or if I didn’t listen to Depeche Mode. So it’s like music definitely does flow through, and I think that that’s how you get your style a lot of it. It’s just defining yourself through the people that you love growing up.”

Seemingly more interested in her musical endeavors than the new duds on display, the 41-year-old was also asked for a timetable on a new No Doubt album and possible tour.

Clearly focused on her fashion career at the moment, Miss Stefani answered, “That I have no idea. We are making a record. We have 10 songs in it. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The reason it’s taking so long is because I’m a mom, and I’m doing all these things.”
